Dr. Norman Carter

Dr. Norman Carter is a native of Madison, Georgia. He received both his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education in 1988 and a Master’s Degree in Music Education in 1996 from Albany State University. He received the Doctorate of Education Leadership degree in 2010 from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Norman Carter is currently retired after devoting 32 years to education. He served as the band and chorus director for twenty-eight years, and four years as an administrator educating and developing the young minds of the students in the community where he and his family reside.

Dr. Norman Carter has been married to Dr. Caroline Carter for twenty-two years and they have two daughters, Makayla, a graduate of Columbus State University, and Vindhya, a junior at Clayton State University.
Dr. Norman Carter is a man of many talents. He is a recording artist and minister of music for two churches. He is also a member of Kappa Kappa Psi Fraternity. It is an honor to be a member of the Marching To Harmony Organization to assist in carrying out the mission and goal for students.
