Devin James is from Charleston, South Carolina where he grew is passion for music education. he obtained a Bachelors of Music Education degree from South Carolina State University under the direction of Director of Bands Ronald Sergeant.  Devin also obtained a Masters of Education from Southern Wesleyan University.

 

Mr. James also received  an Educational Specialist from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Currently Mr. James serves as the Band Director at Stone Mountain Middle School where he helps students foster an appreciation for music education while preparing students for college.
